WHAT IS KNIGHT LIGHTS?
Knight Lights is a town wide celebration of art on the last Sunday in January. Residents purchase luminary bags, create designs with the bags and illuminate the wintry night! Knight Lights is designed as a benefit for the North Andover Schools Enrichment Council, a non-profit organization that works collaboratively with the public schools in North Andover to bring high quality art, music, and science performers and educators to our schools.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
Buy some bags and light up the night! Bags will be available for purchase at area businesses, and students will also be selling them through their schools. A kit containing ten luminary bags and candles, along with complete instructions for safe use, can be purchased for $10.
WHERE WILL THE LIGHTS BE?
Patriots Memorial Park (across from Stevens Memorial Library) has been designated as the official gathering place for creating designs. Scout and youth groups are encouraged to gather to make fantastic designs in light! You can also light the luminaries at your own home, along your neighborhood street, or anywhere you like in North Andover (with permission, of course!).
